LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we

The Word of God spoke to me early this morning through this passage. It is
only by God’s grace that we are saved or able to do ANYTHING to help
ourselves or others. We are dead and hopelessly wandering in the dark
until He calls us into His marvelous light. Verse 7 says that we were not
able to pick ourselves up… indeed He came to our rescue.
Brothers and sisters, as we enter into these critical days in God’s plan
for us, it is urgent that we “go deeper” in our relationship with God. He
is calling many of us to be watchmen on the wall and encourage believers
to go deeper. But just as it was when we were first saved, God is showing
me that even in going deeper, we can’t do it on our own (again from verse
7). We need Him to draw us in by the power of His Spirit.
Present yourselves as available and willing vessels. Make it your prayer
today that God would take you and draw you in closer to Him, into a more
intimate walk… a walk like Enoch experienced… a walk of power and abundant
life. And then stand back and behold what God does.
"Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the
LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my
spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." - Zechariah 4:6
It is never by our might, or strength, or intelligence,
righteousness... It is ALWAYS by His grace and the Spirit of the
LORD working inside of us.
