Thankful for God's Faithfulness

November 25, 2010

As I reflect today on the things that I am truly thankful for, I am reminded to be thankful for the LORDís faithfulness. You see, this past July 2010 when doctors discovered that I had another tumor behind my eye, the LORD quickly told me not to worry and that I would be healed. Then as a reminder of an illustration of His faithfulness that He makes consistently throughout the bible, He sent me this word from Isaiah 55:11 through a brother in Christ and told me to stand on it.

Last week my doctors found that I no longer had any remnant of the tumor that needed to be treated with radiation therapy as they had planned. When I think about these developments in my medical treatments, I am reminded of Godís faithfulness and the fact that His word will not ever return unto Him void.

I am also thankful for His faithfulness in that He refuses to leave me in my faulty and broken state. That He wonít simply wink at my flaws but faithfully refines and molds me into a better image. Thank you Father for making us the works of your hand as you transform us into your marvelous image.

We give thanks to the LORD for He is good and His mercy endures forever.

I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous works. - Psalm 9:1 We do have so very much to be thankful for. I am thankful for the big things (like the awesome God we serve and the life He has given to us) and the smaller things as well (like how my shoes have not worn out while in this wilderness). i am thankful for I AM! (for He is all)
